Getting Started
New to web design tools? Start here for the basics
What makes TechnoidFlow different from other web design tool providers?
We've been working in Thailand's tech scene since 2018, and what sets us apart is our practical approach. Rather than overwhelming beginners with every feature available, we focus on tools that actually get used in real projects.
Our software selection comes from hands-on experience with local businesses and international clients. We test everything ourselves before recommending it, and we provide ongoing support in both English and Thai contexts.
Do I need prior experience to use your recommended tools?
Not at all. Most of our clients start with zero web design experience. We've structured our tool recommendations around learning curves that make sense for beginners.
However, having some computer literacy helps. If you're comfortable installing software and following step-by-step guides, you'll do fine with our recommended tools and learning materials.
How long does it typically take to see results?
This varies quite a bit depending on your goals and available time. Some clients create their first functional website within 2-3 weeks of starting with our tools and guidance.
For more complex projects or if you're learning design principles alongside the technical skills, expect 2-3 months to feel confident with the software. We've found that consistent practice for 30-45 minutes daily works better than weekend marathon sessions.
Software & Tools
Technical questions about our recommended design software
What software do you actually recommend for beginners?
For complete beginners, we usually start with Figma for design mockups and Visual Studio Code for actual coding. Both are free, well-supported, and used by professional teams worldwide.
As you advance, we might suggest Adobe Creative Suite for more complex graphics work, or specialized tools like Webflow for no-code development. The key is starting simple and adding complexity as your skills grow.
- Figma - Interface design and prototyping
- VS Code - Code editing with great extensions
- Chrome DevTools - Built-in debugging and testing
- Git/GitHub - Version control for your projects
Do these tools work well on older computers?
Most of our recommended tools are surprisingly light on system resources. Figma runs in your browser, so if you can browse the web smoothly, you can use Figma. VS Code works well on computers from 2015 and later.
We always test our recommendations on mid-range hardware because not everyone has the latest MacBook Pro. If your computer struggles with certain tools, we can suggest lighter alternatives that accomplish the same goals.
Can I use these tools for client work in Thailand?
Absolutely. The tools we recommend are used by professional agencies throughout Southeast Asia. Thai fonts, Unicode support, and right-to-left text all work properly in modern design software.
We actually have specific guidance for Thailand market considerations - things like mobile-first design for Thai users, payment gateway integrations, and local hosting recommendations.
Learning Programs
Information about our structured learning opportunities
When do your learning programs start?
Our next comprehensive web design program begins in September 2025, with early enrollment opening in July. We also offer shorter workshops throughout the year - the next one is scheduled for December 2025.
Class sizes are intentionally small (12-15 participants) to ensure personalized attention. We've found this approach works much better than large lecture-style sessions, especially for hands-on technical skills.
What's included in the learning program fee?
Everything you need to complete the program: software licenses, project hosting, design resources, and ongoing support. We don't believe in surprise add-on costs halfway through your learning journey.
You also get access to our private community forum, monthly Q&A sessions, and career guidance resources. Many participants find the peer connections as valuable as the formal instruction.
Is the instruction available in Thai language?
Our primary instruction is in English, but our Bangkok-based team members are fluent in Thai and provide translation support when needed. Most industry terminology is in English anyway, so you'll be learning the vocabulary used in professional settings.
We also have written materials and video supplements with Thai subtitles for complex technical concepts that benefit from native language explanation.
